Our Guests are the best…
12th March 2008

This afternoon, the staff at The Angler’s was pleasantly surprised to receive amazing comments in a not so common form. It has truly given the staff at The Angler’s the additional gas we needed to get through the rest of season.

Our guests,

P.Fisher, S.Kniep and S. Hansen were so gracious, that they decided to write a poem. Here is there account of their stay at The Angler’s Boutique Resort:

We stepped out from the taxi feeling quite grumpy

Because we were looking disheveled and frumpy

Then our hosts came forward to greet us

With a smile they announced they were happy to meet us.

They were here to make sure we had all that we needed

Without a doubt, they surely succeeded!

Providing maps, ice buckets and towels

Never their faces were there any hints of scowls.

With fine dining in the lovely French “Quarter”

We found perfection and everything in order

We found upon return, if we left for a minute

A freshly made bed, though we’d hardly been in it!

A room full of charm, a cloud for a bed

We were treated like royalty

And certainly well fed

We aren’t wealthy, with money to burn

But don’t be surprised when you see us return

Marketing Corner…….

So we’ve noticed a lot of you have requested “a quiet room” lately. With all of the comments on the web, you can gather that our restaurant is “pretty lively”. What can we say, we are fortunate in that Maison d’Azur is a pretty popular spot….and we’d be lying if we didn’t mention that guests like to have a good time while they are here. Weekends especially are pretty energetic but it calms down by 2am or so on Friday and Saturday. It’s true that we have rooms over the restaurant; they are lovingly referred to as Club Rooms, which have actually become quite popular with the amenities offered with it.

But back to the noise factor. We realize that our guests appreciate the unique environment that is South Beach, but if it is your first time here, may we remind you that it is no sleepy town. We will do our best to accommodate “a quiet room” but it is a hard feat in this city no matter what. Our double paned glass windows and doors do help a great deal and believe it or not we offer ear plugs for the light sleepers in our care.

So don’t be afraid to request what would make you happy, that is why we are here.

We don’t promise the world but we always do our best to ensure a great experience.

Feel free to let us know how we are doing.
