Wow we can’t believe another year has zipped by - but we end the year grateful for the blessings we have been given. The wonderful opportunities we have had to share The Angler’s with so many incredible folks we now call friends.
We have updated our restaurant and bar, 660 at The Angler’s. We have created a fabulous new menu and added a new lounge in the main area of the restaurant. And to top it off we now have a sidewalk cafe! Please come by and check it out - we’d love to see you. We can’t wait for 2010 and all of the possibilities that lie ahead. Stay tuned!
Dear friends and fans of 660 at The Angler’s. As September winds down it signals the end of Miami Spice. If you are not familiar this is a program that offers 3 course dinner for $35.00. We have had great success and welcome newcomers and old friends alike to participate. The regular menu is always featuring some new creation Chef Giorgio has in the works. Have you tried the handmade Limoncello? Yep that’s right, made right here, and he made Orange, Lime and Ruby Red Grapefruit also. This stuff is ridiculous it’s so good. We offer a flight of “cello’s” so you can get your fix. We look forward to seeing you soon!
August and September are the hottest months of the year. The best way to beat the heat is to go inside and eat. Yes, that’s right. It’s Miami Spice time. Hooray! Our incredibly talented, (not just talented, like blow-your-mind-oh-my-God-this-is-good talented) young and fabulous Chef Giorgio has put together THE Miami Spice Menu.
Hmm, could start with Risotto & Mushroom Croquetas or Andalusian Gazpacho or even or Tuna Tiradito (so refreshing). Then the Half Chicken “Al Mattone”. Or maybe Chef Giorgio’s famous and outrageous Pappardelle Carbonara. Seafood Tegamccio (with scallops, mussels, shrimp & calamari) could be the one. Too bad you can’t order both the desserts: the Liquid Center Chocolate Cake AND the Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta.
There are 18 combinations, each at 35 bucks. But we suggest you start now because you’ll want to try them all and you only have until September 31st.
What could be better than a fabulous pool party in perfect weather with beautiful people? Nothing, right? Wrong. Add $8.00 bottomless bloody marys and it does get better! Fourth of July weekend at The Angler’s and 660 Mediterranean Kitchen was great all around but the highlight was definitely Sunday afternoon. On July 5th we hosted a pool party with the Penny Back Boyz to celebrate Tony Ferro’s birthday. The music, provided by DJ Pride, set the ambiance and all of our guests loved it. Our Director of Food & Beverage extraordinaire, Vinny, and our gorgeous new Chef Giorgio pulled off an amazing party. If you weren’t lucky enough to be here, at least you can enjoy the great pictures. See you by the pool.
